About CarePro Health Services, Inc. While working as a visiting nurse in 1995, Noreen Flanagan was inspired to create a different kind of health care agency following a particularly poignant visit with a patient suffering from dementia. As Noreen talked with the patient’s husband, she observed how overwhelmed he was trying to meet the increasing needs of his wife. This gentleman himself was aging, yet he was his wife’s full-time caregiver. He was struggling to fulfill his promise to his wife that he would never place her in a nursing home. His grown children had families and jobs of their own and were not in a position to help. When Noreen suggested that he contact a home care agency, he stated he was overwhelmed with the thought and didn't’t know where to begin. The Vision Following that visit, Noreen decided that she could offer a better choice to alleviate the concerns that he and so many other families shared. After researching all of the community and private support services available, she discovered many obstacles. Families were faced with continuously having to change organizations in order to meet the evolving needs of their loved one. Noreen wanted to offer patients and their families continuity in care as patient and family needs changed, along with options to mix services to accommodate their preferences and financial restraints. Noreen’s vision was to create an agency that offered a comprehensive range of services delivered by an elite team of caregivers. That vision today is Carepro Health Services. Meet the Directors Noreen Flanagan RN, BSN Co-Founder and Director of Operations Noreen is a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. Noreen has over 20 years experience in the health care field. Prior to founding CarePro Health Services, Noreen was employed as a registered nurse at Boston’s Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She was also employed as a Visiting Nurse and served on numerous community outreach programs for the disabled and elderly. Her nursing specialty is working with Dementia and Alzheimer patients. Noreen's clients benefit from her extensive knowledge of the services and resources available in the community. Margaret Connolly Co-Founder and Chief Financial Officer Margaret has a Bachelor’s Degree in Management and Accounting. She also earned a Master’s Degree in Education. Margaret has over 25 years of experience in the Home Health Care industry both working in the field as a Home Health Aide, as well as operating and managing companies. Kathleen Flaherty RN, BSN Director of Home Services Division Kathleen combines 10 years of diverse nursing experience and knowledge of community resources to provide the highest quality of home health services to our clients. Her professional background includes acute, long-term care, hospice, and rehabilitative care in health care facilities as well as in client homes. This broad working knowledge base enables her to meet our client's needs as they change while accommodating their personal preferences.
